After cutting his teeth on hip-hop throughout the 80’s, Sean Nielsen got introduced to the music of 808 State through a friend in 1990. Pretty soon after that, he started snapping up as many cds and tapes as possible with underground dance music- SL2, Altern-8, Kicks Like a Mule, those Kaos Theory Compilations, Kickin’ Records compilations. He didn’t start clubbing until 1995, some five years after he got into ‘Rave’ music. He spent about three years hitting as many clubs & parties in Central Florida as possible, soaking up many different musical styles.
One point that Sean gained from clubbing and from rave culture is that old punk ethos, D.I.Y. After quitting clubbing, he wanted to stay connected to the essence of what got him in the club in the first place-the music. So he bought some turntables and began practicing.
Since 1999 Seanie Mack has made nearly 60 drum & bass compilations. After moving to Bloomington, IN (to complete a degree in Art History), he started a radio show called ‘The Saturday Nite Rinseout’ at WFHB 90.1 that ran for a year from October of 1999 to October 2000. He was also featured at club dates and raves such as Sagittarius in Indianapolis and Ultra Violet in Bloomington as well as loads of house parties. 2001 was a great year – the crowning achievement being the Decksterity International Winner Award in Knowledge UK (see below). 2003 saw the founding of the bimonthly Resonate Saturdaze nite in Chicago, which kept in step with funky and soulful musical vibes of all genres but focusing primarily on drum & bass.
Seanie Mack now resides in Tampa, Florida, where he’s been since 2004 after moving from Chicago. Being in Tampa has given him an opportunity to retool his philosophy about pursuing musical goals & has helped re-focus his energy into his work. TOP

Once again we're stateside, rollin with the d&b vibez as supplied by Osiris. An ex-radio DJ in the field of jazz, reggae, hip hop and drum & bass, Seanie Mack is in the process of - oh yes - building a studio and accompanying website...which will feature downloadable mixes from the man himself. Here, we find Osiris in the mix on two CDs of outstanding quality, entitled 'Cosmic Slop' and 'Black Power'. Both are on a similar dark-edged, rollin tip with a nice balance of old skool noize and classy vocal; the tuffness supplied by the likes of Digital, Full Cycle and Hardware, sandwiched around recent cuts from JMajik, Intalex and Aquasky. The overall effect is undeniably rooted in the dancehall, although it makes for quality home listening material too…promoters - you know what's up! Put the man on big dog style... TOP
